This Week's "Wine Find"
  Brandl Gruner Veltliner "Kamptal" 2010
Here at Mt. Washington, we eschew formulaic wines in favor of those that reflect the individuality of the grower and his or her family. Gunther Brandl farms Gruner Veltliner and Riesling vineyards in the Kamptal region of Austria with the sort of dedication and passion that we admire; he is among the best producers in Austria, and his wines show it. This week's wine is his entry level Gruner Veltliner, a delicious way to sample the finesse and sophistication of Brandl's more exclusive offerings, but under $20.

Brandl 2010 Gruner Veltliner, Kamptal, Austria. $16
Cool citrus, a dash of white pepper, a dusting of chalky minerals, and a juicy, refreshing demeanor make this an incredible wine for this heat wave. There isn't much, so come on down and taste it and stock up if you like it!.

This week's "Wine Find" is a brief weekly note to our customers. It shares the one wine, of the many wines we tasted that week, which spoke to us with the most impact.
